SPEAKER AND MIC CABLE INSTALLATION

Connect the speaker extension cable plug to the
EXT.SP1 or EXT.SP2 connector {TS-2000 page 78}.
Then connect a plug from the speaker to the jack as
shown below. Connect the microphone extension cable
between the microphone jack on the front of the
transceiver and the microphone connector, as shown
below.

MODULAR PLUG CABLE CONNECTION

Use the supplied modular plug cable to connect the front
panel to the main unit. Connect the 4-pin plug to the
front panel and 6-pin plug to the main unit.
Note: It is easy to identify between the plugs, as the 6-pin plug is slightly
wider than the 4-pin plug.
