  • Page 4 Don’t expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord to carry the tools or pull the plug from an outlet. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
  • Page 5 Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protection. Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection must be used for appropriate conditions. Before connecting the tool to a power source (receptacle, outlet, etc.), be sure voltage supplied is the same as that specified on the nameplate of the tool.

    ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT ATTACHING A SANDING SHEET Remove the plug from the power source. Select the required grade of sanding sheet. To attach an ordinary (non Hook & Fig. 2 Loop type) sanding sheets, lift the clamping levers (10) up and out of the base to release the clamps (9) at both ends of the sanding base (6).
  • Page 9 USING THE HOLE PUNCH (Fig. 3) If the sanding sheet installed does Fig. 3 not have holes it will be necessary to punch holes into the sanding sheet using the hole punch (11) provided. Place the hole punch (11) on a level surface.

    Alternatively, the dust extraction Fig. 5 adaptor (8) can be fitted to the dust extraction port (7) to allow a dust extraction system or a suitable vacuum cleaner to be connected to the tool for a cleaner and safer work area.
