Child lock
When set to on, the remote control functions normally,
but all front panel controls are inoperative.
Switch the system into standby.
Press SYSTEM MENU and select CHILD
LOCK.

Change menu options using the 4 and ) buttons.
Press
ENTER
to select the currently displayed option.
Use the A or V button to select LOCK
ON or LOCK OFF as required, then press
ENTER.
The system returns to standby.
Beep mode
When set to on, the system beeps when you touch F! II
or
b OPEN/CLOSE
on the front panel.
Switch the system into standby.
Press SYSTEM MENU and select BEEP
MODE.

Change menu options using the 4 and ) buttons.
Press
ENTER
to select the currently displayed option.
Use the A or 'I button to select BEEP
ON or BEEP OFF as required.
The system returns to standby.
Tuner frequency step
(Not applicable to European model)
As its default setting, the tuner jumps in steps of IOkHz
when tuning in AM stations. If you find that this is
unsuitable in your area (if you can't tune into stations
successfully), you can change the tuning interval to
9kHz for AM.
Switch the system into standby.
Press SYSTEM MENU and select TUNER

Restriction pour les enfants

fonctionne normalement, mais toutes les commandes
du panneau avant sent inoperables.
Mettez I'appareil en attente.
Appuyez sur SYSTEM MENU et
selectionnez CHILD LOCK.

Comme son re'glage par defaut, le tuner saute par pas de
1OkHz lots de l'accord de stations AM. Si vous trouvez
qu'il n'est pas approprie' B votre region (si vous ne
parvenez pas accorder des stations), vous vous changez
l'intervalle d'accord a 9kHz pour la bande AM.
Mettez I'appareil en attente.
Appuyez sur SYSTEM MENU et
selectionnez TUNER FSTEP
