MAINTENANCE
Your hair dryer is designed for household use and is virtually
maintenance free. When cleaning becomes necessary, turn all
switches off and disconnect the hair dryer from the power outlet.
To maintain peak product performance, it is important to clean the air
inlet grille and filter at the back of the dryer. To access the air inlet
grille and filter, grasp the air inlet grille retaining ring with your hand
and twist it anti-clockwise until it unlocks. Pull it away from the hair
dryer. The filter can now be cleaned with a soft brush or a vacuum
cleaner. Take the air inlet grille retaining ring and position it so the
lugs on the ring are aligned with the notches on the side of the dryer.
To lock, turn the air inlet grille retaining ring clockwise. The exterior
of the hair dryer can be cleaned by wiping it with a damp cloth.
STORAGE
When not in use, unplug the unit. Allow appliance to cool and store
out of reach of children in a safe, dry location. Never wrap the cord
around the appliance as this will cause the cord to wear prematurely
and break. Handle cord carefully for long life and avoid jerking,
twisting or straining especially at plug connections. If the cord
becomes twisted in use, periodically straighten it.
You may also use the hang loop to store the hair dryer within
convenient reach, ensuring that water cannot be splashed on to it
when it is hung up.
WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins
or other vessels containing water.
