A router with Network Address Translation (NAT) allows a local network to use private IP addresses communicate out to the Internet. In other words, connections may be established outbound to the Internet, but connections arriving from the Internet are not allowed.

Normally, 16kb/s is the minimum to support PDA-Phone viewer, while 750kb/s is ideal to provide VGA at the resolution of 30 frames/s continuous motion and a good quality video. The default setting (Auto mode) of the Remote_Viewer is running at the speed of 200kb/s and QVGA resolution.
