Operating Environment Required for Installation

To operate the P2 drive, the following environment is required on the host computer.
Empty slot(s) (full height) for the PCI EXPRESS : 1 or more
To mount the each P2 drive in a personal computer, 1 emmty slot is required. It is possible to connect
up to 2 units.
The following environment is recommended for the host computer to make full use of the features of P2
drive.
A striping configuration using 4 or more hard disk drives is recommended to attain sufficient transfer
speed when transferring data to the hard disk drive.
