Alcatel 2000 Auto Dial Telephone
To Make a Call
Lift the Telephone handset, listen for the dial tone and dial the required
number.
Refer also to the Redial feature.
Ringer Volume Control (6)
The slider switch (6) allows you to adjust the volume of the incoming ring to
the required level.
These levels are: HIGH, LOW, OFF
Ringer Pitch Control (3)
The incoming ring pitch can also be adjusted to your personal hearing
requirements by operating
the slider switch.
Incoming Speech Adjustment (12)
This switch allows the user to adjust the volume of the incoming speech to a
selection of three
volume levels.
Redial (11)
If you make a call and the number is engaged, or you need to call again the
number previously
dialled, you can redial the last number you dialled by simply lifting the handset
and pressing
the REDIAL key.

To Store Numbers:- - Lift Handset - Press and release the Store key (4) - Key in the telephone number (entering the pauses as required for PABX use).
- Page 3 Mute (14) (under handset) By depressing the MUTE button it is possible conduct a private conversation with someone else in the same room without the caller hearing. Also stops background noise being transmitted. The caller is unable to hear for a long as the button is depressed.
