2. Safety Instructions Your electric hedge trimmer should always be used in accordance with this manual. This device is intended solely for cutting hedges in private gardens. Any other use not expressly permitted in these instructions may result in damage and may pose a serious hazard to the user and is not permitted.

2.2 Before Using Study this manual thoroughly Familiarise yourself with the operation of the hedge trimmer and learn to use it properly. 3. Instructions for use Unauthorised modifications can make your machine dangerous and lead to severe injury during use. Cobra disclaims any liability in case of misuse or failure to comply with the instructions and / or regulations in force. Preparation of the hedge trimmer CAUTION: Do not plug the machine to the power source until you fully assemble and set the machine.
3.2.1 Starting the hedge trimmer Fully unroll the power cord and use the cable hook to hang and connect it to the machine as shown in Figure 1 below. Connect the extension cord to the power socket, taking care to not press any button to prevent accidental starting.
3.2.4 Tips for using the hedge trimmer Do not use in the rain Preferably start with the parts closest to the power supply, moving away slowly. When cutting, make sure that the extension cord is always drawn behind you the side already done.
