TROUBLESHOOTING

Unplug Appliance Before Performing Any Troubleshooting or Maintenance
Hopper is out of pellets
Auger tube was not full of pellets when the start dial was activated
Burn Pot dirty - holes plugged
Igniter not functioning
Igniter fuse blown
Proof of Fire Snap Switch defective
Proof of Fire Snap Switch dirty
Power cord is not plugged in
Board fuse blown
Wall outlet not energized
Board broken, damaged, or defective
Front door is not sealing
Ash pots are not sealing
Flue gas passageways restricted
Vent pipe restricted
Vacuum hose plugged
Vacuum switch defective
Hopper is out of pellets
Snap switch* defective
"Proof of fire" switch is dirty

Ignition/Proof of Fire Failure - Message - No Fire Error
Possible Problem
Control Board has no Power - When heat select dial is turned, no lights light up
Vacuum Switch Shuts Stove Down - Message - Air Seal Error
Proof of Fire Snap Switch Shuts Stove Down - Message - No Fire Error
Fill the hopper with pellets
When cool, empty pellets that are in Burn Pot. Turn ignition/heat control
dial off and then back to your desired heat setting.
Clean the Burn Pot making sure all holes are clear of ash and clinkers
Check igniter fuse or replace igniter
Replace 6 amp fuse located on the side of the controller.
Replace Proof of Fire Snap Switch
Clean Proof of Fire Switch (See instructions on Page 28)
Plug in power cord
Replace 3 amp fuse located on side of control board
Check circuit breaker panel
Replace the control board
Latch or adjust the front door. Replace door gasket if worn or dam-
aged
Close latches, adjust latches, or replace drawer gaskets
Clean the passageways (see Page 28)
Clean the vent pipe (see Page 29)
Clean or replace the vacuum hose
Replace the vacuum switch
Fill the hopper with pellets
Replace the "proof of fire" snap switch
Clean switch per instructions on Page 28
