NAM SELECT – USING THE PHONE
ON TWO NETWORKS
The phone's two number capability feature lets you
subscribe to competitive cellular services in your area and
other cities. This means that your phone can have up to two
numbers. NAM stands for Number Assignment Module.
Note: You cannot change from one network to the other
during a call. If you are only registered on one network
you cannot access the other.
To change the network:
³ Press MENU 7. The phone will display the number
currently in use.
Note: If only one number is programmed in your phone,
this feature is inoperative.
· Press v o V to select the other number.
» Press STO.

SETTING AUTO ANSWER

You can set the phone to answer incoming calls automati-
cally (i.e. switch itself from standby mode to talk mode)
after one ring. When selected, the auto answer feature is
active only when the phone is connected to a handsfree
kit and is in handfree mode. The default setting is OFF.
To set the auto answer mode on or off:
³ Press MENU 8.
· Use v or V keys to set auto answer AUTO ON or AUTO
OFF.
» Press STO to confirm the setting.

ACCESSORY MENU

In this menu you can control the accessories connected to
your phone via the car installation kit. If you try to use it
when no extra accessory is fitted, the phone will display
an error message.
To enter the menu:
³ Press MENU 9. If no accessories are connected to the
phone, the message NONE PRESENT is shown.
