The Open-IEEE8021X , WPA , WPA2 , and WPA/WPA2 mixed authentication types
require a RADIUS server.
When the Open, Shared, or WEPAUTO values are selected, the following fields are available:

A mixed type of authentication. When this value is
selected, devices using the WPA-PSK authentication type
and devices using the WPA2-PSK authentication type can
connect to the router's WLAN.
The checkbox activating WEP encryption. When the checkbox is
selected, the Default Key ID field and four Encryption Key WEP
fields are displayed on the page. For the
authentication types the checkbox is always selected.
The number of the key (from first to fourth) which will be used for
WEP encryption.
Keys for WEP encryption. The router uses the key selected from the
Default Key ID drop-down list. It is not necessary to specify the other
fields (their values are needed only in case of changing the key
number).
