You can specify the following parameters:
Parameter
Name
A name for the DHCP server for easier identification.
A physical interface of the router to which this DHCP server is assigned. The
Interface
field is available upon creation of a new DHCP server.
The start IP address of the address pool used by the DHCP server to distribute
Start address
IP addresses to clients.
The end IP address of the address pool used by the DHCP server to distribute IP
End address
addresses to clients.
The lifetime of IP addresses leased by the DHCP server, in minutes. At the end
Lease time
of this period the leased IP address is revoked and can be distributed to another
device, unless the previous device has confirmed the need to keep the address).
Subnet
A mask for the address pool.
Broadcast
An IP address for broadcast packets.
Gateway
The IP address of the default gateway for the DHCP server.
DNS
The name server IP address distributed by the DHCP server.
Max leases
The number of IP addresses in the address pool of the DHCP server.
Click the Change button.
To remove the existing DHCP server, follow the link with the name of the server. On the opened
page, click the Delete button. When you have removed the DHCP server, you can create one again
by clicking the Add DHCP link.
