TROUBLE SHOOTING

Power switched on and compressor does not start up:
Check to make sure power cord is properly plugged in.
If water cooler was purchased and delivered in the winter, give it several
hours to warm up to room temperature before plugging in as both the
temperature of the water and the temperature of the cooler itself can effect
thermostat setting. If temperature is below thermostat then compressor will
not start up. The thermostat was preset at the factory and any adjustments
will void warranty.
Water Appliance is noisy during operation:
Ensure water cooler is sitting on a level surface.
If noisy after its first use, unplug it for half an hour and try again as
compressor fluid may have flowed from compressor during transit.
Condenser becomes too hot:
When in use, it is normal for the condenser to be hot. If you are worried
that temperature is too high, check to make sure that there is enough room
around the water cooler to allow ventilation. We recommend at least 2"
clearance on all sides.
Cold Water is warm:
Ensure cold water switch is in on position.
Cold water consumption is greater than 67.6 fl oz per hour, thus exceeding
capacity of compressor. Allow water cooler to run for 1 hour without
dispensing cold water.
Water leaks from tap:
A calcium scale deposit may have formed in the tap. Clean the inside
of the water cooler following cleaning instructions included in this manual.
Water leaks from Cooler:
Water bottle may have small pinholes. Unplug water cooler, remove bottle
and check. Drain water through faucets, then replace with new bottle and
open faucets one at time until water flows. Then plug water cooler in and
check for leaks.
Check drain plug on rear of unit is properly fastened.
