3.6 Hardware Installation

3.6.1 Serial ATA and IDE Hard Disk Setting

Unlike the IDE bus, only one Serial ATA channel can connect to one SATA hard disk at a time. There are a total of two
connectors, J14 and J15. Serial ATA installation is simpler and easier than IDE, because the SATA hard disk does not
require setting up Master and Slave, which can reduce mistakes in the hardware installation.
1. Fix the anti-vibration washers & screws.
2. Fix the HDD to the bracket & connect
SATA cable & Power cable.
