We suggest you completely review any procedure before you take the computer apart. CPU and Memory Upgrades: The upgrade procedures for CPU and system memory involve more than the component-specific removal and re- placement procedure.

To avoid personal injury or damage to the computer while performing a removal and/or replacement job, take the following precautions: Don't drop it. Perform your repairs and/or upgrades on a stable surface. If the computer falls, the case and other components could be damaged.
