Understanding the Radio System
Your Redcat Racing F/A-18C comes from the factory with a high-quality 2.4ghz radio
transmitter and receiver. Since these are your only source of control over the aircraft, it's
important to take time to review and understand their function. Your radio transmitter has two
separate modes which are pictured below. Pay specific attention to the control stick functions
outlined below!
Tip: Collapse your transmitter antenna by pulling from the bottom of the antenna. Pushing
down on the antenna top can bend or break it, limiting the range of your transmitter. Never cut
the length of your receiver antenna! Doing so will severely reduce your transmitter's range.
