    Aircraft Assembly Minor assembly of your F/A-18C aircraft is required. Please pay close attention to the following assembly steps to obtain maximum performance from your aircraft while flying. Step 1: Installation of the Main Wings. Add glue to the edges of each main wing where it will attach to the plane fuselage.

    Understanding the Radio System Your Redcat Racing F/A-18C comes from the factory with a high-quality 2.4ghz radio transmitter and receiver. Since these are your only source of control over the aircraft, it’s important to take time to review and understand their function.
  • Page 17 Binding the Transmitter & Receiver: To ensure proper operation of your aircraft, your radio transmitter and aircraft receiver are bound. These should arrive from the factory, but if you experience problems during your pre-flight check, you may need to follow these instructions to re-bind your receiver. Never cut the length of your receiver antenna! Doing so will severely reduce your transmitter’s range.
