Clicking the [Settings] button in the main window displays the Settings dialog
box.

to the [Start—Color] key on the machine.
Default: Scan Image
Select the button for the function to be assigned
to the [Start—B&W] key on the machine.
Default: Scan Document
Click this button to return all items to their default
settings.
