Select the desired audio channel when using a
Karaoke SVCD/VCD (see page 15).

To cancel the Karaoke Mode, select "MIC OFF" in step 3.

Singing Along Using Stereo Discs
—Vocal Masking
You can enjoy singing along while playing a stereo disc.
Vocal Masking reduces the lead vocal of a disc.
• You can use this function only with DVD/CD sources.
• When playing a Karaoke disc in Vocal Masking Mode, the
vocal may not be reduced or the volume may be lower.

Turn MIC LEVEL to MIN.

Connect the microphone(s) (not supplied) to the MIC
jack(s).

Insert and start playing a stereo disc.

Activate Vocal Masking Mode.

Sing into the microphone(s).

Adjust the MIC LEVEL and VOLUME.
To cancel the Vocal Masking Mode, select "MIC OFF" in
step 4 or change the source to play.
