How do you unpair a G-SMR-2 remote from an original sleep number bed frame. Only want it to control one side, not both
To unpair a Leggett & Platt G-SMR-2 remote and control only one side, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the base: Disconnect the electrical power cord of the adjustable base you want to unpair.
2. Wait briefly: After unplugging, wait a few seconds.
3. Power up for pairing:
- For a DC motor with a power down box: Press the learn button on the power down box for 1 second.
- For an AC J box or DC motor without a power down box: Simply plug the power cord back in.
4. Program only one remote: Use only one remote to perform the pairing process with the desired base by pressing and holding the POS 1 and Head Massage On/Off buttons until the indicator light flashes rapidly, then release.
5. Do not pair the second remote: Skip pairing the second remote with the base you want to unpair.
This process ensures that only one remote is paired to one base, effectively unpairing the other.
