My adjustable base is stuck in the upright position due to a bad motor, how do I manually lower it
To manually lower a Leggett & Platt adjustable base during a power outage or motor failure, follow these steps:
1. Insert two 9-volt alkaline batteries into the power brick (battery compartment).
2. Press the FLAT button on the remote control or in-line switch to lower the base to a flat position.
3. Remove and discard the batteries after use.
Note: The batteries are only good for one-time use and should not be installed until needed.
