Section 4 – Security
The Port Forwarding option is used to open a range of ports through your firewall and redirect data through those
ports to a single PC on your network.
Name:
Enter a name for the rule .
Public Port Start/
Enter the port or a range of ports that you want
Public Port End:
to enable the port forwarding.
Traffic Type:
You can select TCP,UDP,BOTH.
IP Address:
Enter the IP address of the computer on your
local network that you want to enable the
function. If your computer is receiving an IP
address automatically from the router (DHCP),
you computer will be listed in the "Select DHCP
Client" drop-down menu. Select your computer
and click <<.
Enable:
Select Enabled to enable the rule and click Add
to add the rule.
