All Discs Synchronized Recording

Insert a recordable cassette into the cassette
compartment with the exposed part of the
tape facing left.

Load discs into the 5-CD Changer.
• You can make a program (see page 17) or select the
Random Play mode (see page 18) if you want. In this
case, you cannot select the starting disc
= go to step 5 .

Press one of the disc number
buttons (CD 1 – CD 5) on the
remote control to select the disc
you want to start recording from,
then press 7.

Press CD REC MODE on the remote
control to select "ALL CD."
Each time you press the button, The recording
mode changes as follows:

Press REC.
The
indicator lights up on the display and

recording starts.

When all loaded discs are recorded, recording will stop. Both
the 5-CD changer and the cassette deck stop automatically.

To stop while recording, press 7.
The tape stops after 4 seconds.
To remove the cassette, press 0 on the unit.
When recording discs
A 4-second blank is automatically made on the tape before each
track. To record without the blank, follow the procedure below:
1 Load discs you want to record into the 5-CD Changer.
2 Press DISC SELECT on the unit to select the disc number you
have loaded.
3 Press #/8 CD on the unit twice so that disc playback is paused.
• If the pausing position is not "0:00," you can skip back to
"0:00" by pressing 4 DOWN on the unit.
4 Press REC on the unit to start recording.
When all loaded discs are recorded, recording will stop.
You cannot exchange a disc while recording another disc.
Pressing CD REC MODE changes the disc playback mode to
Continuous Play and cancels the Repeat Play mode.
