    Basic Operations Fade-out Muting (FADE MUTING) You can mute the output with one touch operation. To mute the output, press the FADE MUTING button on the Remote Control. Then, the output will be faded out and becomes 0. To release muting, press the FADE MUTING button once again.

    Using the Powered Subwoofer STANDBY/ON indicator Operating the Powered Subwoofer Presetting the Volume You need to preset the volume level of this speaker (SP- PW1000) to match those of the main speakers (SP- FSSD1000). Once you preset the volume level, it is stored as your reference level and the volume level of this speaker will be able to automatically change as the volume level of the Center Unit (CA-FSSD1000) changes.

    Presetting Stations You can preset up to 30 FM stations and up to 15 AM sta- tions using the Remote Control. • Preset numbers may have been set to factory test fre- quencies prior to shipment. This is not a malfunction. You can preset the stations you want into memory by following one of the presetting methods below.
