ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Cleaning of condenser filter

WARNING
Do not touch the condenser when removing the condenser filter for cleaning. It may cause burn
injury.
This unit is provided with the filter check lamp. This lamp flickers and the buzzer sounds when the
condenser filter is clogged. Clean the filter according to the following procedure. As a clogged filter
may cause poor cooling and compressor trouble, clean it once a month.
1. The freezer has a side panel on the lower left.
Open the side panel upward as shown in the figure.
2. The filter is located at the front of the condenser.
Pull the filter outward as shown in the figure.
Note: Do not touch the running fan inside the side
panel.
3. Wash the filter with water and dry it naturally.
4. Replace the clean filter as before and close the
side panel.
5. Check the filter check lamp is off when the filter
check lamp has been on.
