Up Front
• Coupe, Convertible and fixed-roof Z06/ZR1 coupe body styles
are available. Coupe and Convertible are available as Grand
Sport models. All models are available in two trim levels

Under the Hood
• 6.2-litre LS3 V8 engine produces 430 hp and 424 lb.-ft. of
torque. Aluminum block and cylinder heads provide light
weight; cast-in iron cylinder liners provide durability
• 7.0-litre LS7 V8 engine on Z06 produces 505 hp and 470 lb.-
ft. Dry sump lubrication and 7000 rpm redline. Titanium valves
and connecting rods, extra-large valves and ports
• 6.2-liter Supercharged LS9 V8 engine produces 638 hp and
604 lb.-ft. of torque. This is the most powerful production
engine ever produced by GM. Integrated charge cooling
system reduces air temperature for maximum performance.

• Synthetic oil and performance oil cooler help protect engine
• 6-speed short-throw manual transmission provides closely
spaced gear ratios for fast acceleration. Z51 includes shorter
ratios for acceleration and fluid cooler for durability. Z06 has
unique transmission design to handle its power. ZR1 has a
high-capacity dual-disc clutch that handles the increased
power of the ZR1's engine while keeping clutch effort low
• 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift features
Drive or "D" for conventional automatic mode optimized for
smooth shifts. Sport, or "S" mode, can also be operated as
fully automatic, when the paddles are not used, and features
firmer shifts for enhanced performance. (NA on Z06/ZR1)
Passenger Side
• Rigid vehicle structure uses hydroformed steel perimeter rails
with a centre tunnel structure, cored composite floors and
aluminum cockpit structure for vehicle dynamics and noise
• Z06/ZR1 uses unique aluminum perimeter frame, magnesium
engine cradle and rear-mounted battery for better performance
• 18-nch front, 19-inch rear flangeless aluminum wheels add
to handling and appearance. A number of styles and finishes
are available. ZR1 has 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels
• Goodyear Extended Mobility tires provide exceptional han-
dling and ride comfort. Run-flat design eliminates need for
spare tire. Directional tread design with 245/40ZR front,
285/35ZR rear. Z51 and Z06 have asymmetrical tires. Larger
tires on Z06
• Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires were developed specifically for the
ZR1. They provide top-level handling and performance.

• Composite body panels resist dings and corrosion for durability
At the Rear
• Integrated rear spoiler reduces lift and contributes to high-
speed stability. Z06 has taller spoiler, ZR1 has a unique design
• Quad polished stainless steel exhaust tips for appearance
• Dual-mode performance exhaust increases power to 436 hp
and 428 lb.-ft. of torque and provides an aggressive exhaust
note (available Coupe and Convertible)
• 634 litres (22.4 cu.ft.) of cargo room on Coupe/Z06 is best-
in-class
• Luggage shade helps conceal cargo (standard on coupe and
available on Z06)
Driver Side
• Standard suspension is tuned for the broadest range of all-
weather ride and handling
• F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension has magnet-
ic-fluid-filled shock dampers that adjust damping rates almost
instantly for optimal body control. A tour-sport switch enables
the driver to select the desired behavior. Standard on ZR1,
optional on Coupe and Convertible, not available on Grand
Sport or Z06 models .
• Z51 Performance Package includes stiffer bushings, springs
and stabilizer bar; larger-diameter shocks; performance gear
ratios; and asymmetrical performance tires. Limited-slip rear
axle with 2.73:1 axle ratio on auto. only. Optional
• Z06 Performance Package includes composite springs, engine
component coolers, stiffer springs and stabilizer bars, specific
shock absorbers, larger brakes and specific tires
• ZR1 Performance Package with Magnetic Selective Ride
Control has specific spring and stabilizer bar rates that provide
more than 1g of cornering grip. ZR1 only
• Traction control adjusts spark, reduces throttle input and
applies individual brakes to reduce wheelspin
• Active handling stability control helps prevent understeer or
oversteer. Uses individual wheel brake application as well as
the traction control system and the optional Magnetic Selective
Ride Control system to correct the yaw of the car
• Magnasteer variable-assist power steering provides greater
assist at low speed for easy manoeuverability, less assist at
higher speed for road feel
• 4-wheel antilock ventilated disc brakes have excellent braking
performance. Larger cross-drilled rotors on Z51. Z06 has even
larger brake rotors and brake pads for multiple-piston calipers
• Carbon-ceramic, drilled disc brake rotors on ZR1 have sub-
stantially increased pad area to enhance braking performance.

• Base seats (1SA) include leather seating surfaces and 6-way
power driver's seat.
• Sport seats (1SB) add 6-way power passenger seat, power
lumbar and lateral bolsters. Available heated surfaces, driver's
memory and two-tone trim.

Passenger Sensing System provide occupant protection
• Side-impact front seat air bags 2 are designed to help protect
thorax of front occupants in certain side collisions
• Power telescoping steering column allows the steering wheel
to be moved forward and back based on height and arm length
Included 1SB models and ZR1 1SD; manual tilt is standard
• Head-Up Display projects vehicle information on windshield
for convenience. Street and Track modes and available Turn-
