Manual Shift
On manual transmission vehicles, shifting is done
through a cable operated linkage system after pushing
the clutch pedal. As with all current Audi models
equipped with manual transmissions, the clutch pedal
must be depressed when starting the engine.

The shifter is connected to the transmission by two
Bowden cables. The length of the cables can be adjusted
by means of two quick-release fasteners. The cables are
spring loaded for easy length adjustment.
