Unpacking an Enclosure and Verifying its Contents

This section provides a list of contents in an enclosure package.
Caution –
injury. An enclosure with all drives installed can weigh 65 pounds (29.5 kilograms).
1. Unpack the enclosure.
2. Check the contents of the enclosure and box for the items listed in Table 2-1.

Drive enclosure only:
• 1.9-foot (0.6 m) SAS-to-SAS cascading cable
Purchased options. These options are ordered at the time
of purchase and are integrated into or added to the
system prior to delivery.
1 The enclosure includes 1 or 2 controller or expansion modules, as ordered.
2 You may need to order additional or longer cables if you are cabling a fault-tolerant configuration.
Two people are needed to lift and move the enclosure. Use care to avoid
