3 Your GPS tracks are automatically broken up into segments whenever

The SC-1 is turned off and on again

USB cable is disconnected
The start and end dates and times for each track segment are shown in the track segment window
using the system time zone of the PC. The most recently recorded track segments are listed first.
Select the track segments you wish to download and combine them into a single GPS data file by
clicking the corresponding check boxes in the track segment window as shown below.
Note: The dates shown in the track segment window are written using the American month/day format.
