settings
You can reset any individual settings and
changes that you have made. This will not
affect entries in the directory, calls list, or SMS
lists or the handset's registration to the base
station.

The base station settings are carried out using a
registered Gigaset C45 handset.
Changing the system PIN
You have to enter the system PIN when register-
ing a handset to the base station.
You can change the base's 4-digit default sys-
tem PIN ("0000") to a 4-digit PIN known only to
yourself.

When the settings are restored all handsets are
de-registered. Each individual setting is
restored. Only the date and time are retained.

Remove the base station mains adapter
(page 4) from the power socket.

Press the registration/paging key
(page 1) and hold down.

Replug the mains unit into your power
socket.

Continue to press the registration/
paging key (page 1).

Release the registration/paging key
(page 1). The base station has now been
reset.
