Level 3 Service Manual

Call Origination (GSM and DCS only)

Use the following procedures for call processing. The
screen shots are from a Rohde and Schwarz CMU 200.
The procedures can be adopted to any other test box
that will be used to perform call processing.
1.
Install the test USIM in phone.
2.
Connect hardware as illustrated in figure 13.
Note: Control interface doesn't need to be con-
nected at this time.
3.
Setup up the test box for GSM or DCS Signal-
ling
