Administration overview

This chapter provides instructions for the administrative
tasks associated with ID-4000 systems.
"Administration" for the ID-4000 is defined as
procedures beyond the capturing of text and images, the
printing of badges and the verification of data. For
example, procedures such as managing system security,
creating reports, managing databases, viewing audit
logs and card histories, and adjusting system
components are considered administration.
Note: ID-4000 for Windows is available in a variety of
different "application templates" as described in
Chapter 2. Some application templates may not have all
the capabilities described in this chapter.
