Towing The Vehicle

When towing the vehicle, you should always use a
properly equipped wrecker/recovery vehicle.
"Towing Your Vehicle" and "Recreational Vehicle Towing"
in the Index of the 2004 Vehicle Owner's Manual for
further information on towing the vehicle.
Notice: The steering wheel must be secured properly
with the appropriate wheel-locking device to keep the
wheel in the straight position. The vehicle transfer case
must be in NEUTRAL (N).

Towing a Trailer

The vehicle is equipped for towing a trailer.
Notice: Do not exceed the maximum allowable weight
the vehicle is designed to carry. Exceeding the
maximum allowable weight may cause damage to the
vehicle.

Vehicle Owner's Manual for more information on trailer
towing.

The vehicle is equipped with a pintle hitch for towing a
trailer. You must not exceed the maximum trailer weight
