Installing the Custom-Shape Wireless Dog Fence
Activating the Bases:
1.
Once all the bases have been attached to the walls and the
Wireless Fence Tracker has been accessed, it is necessary to
add the Bases, one at a time, to the System starting with the
Master Base A. Plug the Master Base A into the power outlet.
2.
The indicator light will flash green to show that Master
Base A is powered on. Do not plug in the other Bases yet.
3.
On the Wireless Fence Tracker, select "Start" to begin recording.
As you activate your Bases, they will move to their actual
locations on the screen.
4.
Touch the screen of the Controller to turn it on and press
"Get Started" (see Screen 1.0).
5.
Press "System" (see Screen 1.1).
6.
Press "Complete" (see Screen 1.2) to add the Master Base A to the
System, and its indicator light will stop flashing green and turn
solid green.
7.
Walk clockwise to the next Base to the right of the Master Base A and plug
it into a power outlet. This will become Base B. After the indicator light turns
green, press "Complete" on the Controller to add Base B to the System.
8.
Walk clockwise to the remaining 2 Bases and repeat Step 7 to activate them
(see Illustration C).
BASE ACTIVATION NOTE: If successful, a congratulatory screen will appear on the Controller indicating you are now ready to proceed to
setup your Fence Boundary (see Screen 1.8).
If you are unsuccessful, the Controller will advise you to recheck each Base (see Error Screen 1.0a or 1.0b). Before moving any Bases, press
"Recheck System" to retry Base installation. If the same error occurs and you must move one or more of the Bases, or if you want to exit the
setup process from your Error Screen and start over, Press "MAIN MENU", then Press "Yes."

material between them.
Activating the Bases (continued):
8.
Your Bases should now be properly oriented on the Wireless Fence Tracker. As you look at your computer
screen the orientation of the Bases may look different than what you would expect. However, the
Bases should all be in the correct position relative to one another. Your on screen layout may make more
sense once you have recorded your fence.
The default scale for each large block is roughly 16 feet. The scale may change depending on the distance
between the Bases and the size of your Roaming Area. The larger the distance between the Bases or the
larger the size of your Roaming Area, the more the scale for each large block will decrease to allow you to see
your entire Fence Boundary.
Base Positions on the Wireless Fence Tracker:
• The Master Base A will always appear at the intersection or crosshairs of the 2 bold lines.
Base B will always appear directly to the right of the Master Base A on the horizontal bold line.
Bases C will always be positioned clockwise from Base B.
Base D will always be positioned clockwise from Base C.
Please see the example illustrations for comparison to your layout.
Your on screen layout may make more sense once you have recorded your fence.

NOTE: If you would like to be able to see where your dog is after you have closed the Wireless Fence Tracker,
reconnect to the program and use the Reload Fence option to automatically redraw the Fence Boundary
and Base positions on your screen. Your system settings are stored in memory so that you will not have to
re-record your Fence Boundary.
