EXHAUST DUCT INSTALLATION OPTIONS

Following are the four most common exhaust duct installation methods. The exhaust duct length can
be up to 8 metres long with a maximum of two 90° bends:

Direct Vertical.

Offset Vertical.

Extended Vertical.

Direct or Extended Horizontal.

Minimum clearance 500mm to nearest part of roof.

Minimum clearance 20mm to combustible materials.

Decktite or other non lead based flashing, to be provided by installer.

For enclosed installations ONLY, a minimum 250cm

The weight of the exhaust duct MUST BE supported by the stand-off supplied and NOT by the dryer.

A constant 2° fall to the terminal MUST BE maintained on horizontal installations.

can be cut to length as is required, provided that a clean square edge is maintained and that a minimum
penetration of 50mm remains to join other exhaust duct components.
