Status information

Local Network

The Local Network page shows information about the local network settings.

In the Status menu, select Local Network.

DHCP Server

The DHCP Server Active IP/MAC Table shows the clients in the network that currently
have been assigned an IP address by the Gigaset SE587 WLAN dsl DHCP server. The fol-
lowing information is displayed for each client:
– IP Address
– MAC Address
– Lease Time (remainig time before the DHCP server will assign a new IP address)
– Host Name

Click Refresh to refresh this screen and update the displayed data.

Wireless Network

The Wireless page shows information about the wireless network settings.

In the Status menu, select Wireless.

Local MAC address of the device's LAN interface.
Local IP address of the device.
Subnet mask used in the local network.
Shows if the DHCP server of the device is enabled or disabled.
First IP address in the IP range which can be assigned to a
client by the DHCP server.
Last IP address in the IP range which can be assigned to a client
by the DHCP server.
Security mode used for encryption (see page 21).
Encryption method used.
MAC address of the device's wireless interface.
Wireless network mode set for data transmission
(see page 20)
Wireless network ID (see page 20).
Channels which are allowed for wireless communication
Radio channel that is currently being used for data transfer in
the wireless network.
Transmission rate currently set.
Maximum time, in microseconds, that the device transmits
IEEE 802.11g wireless traffic only.
