PC, you must connect the PC directly to the LAN port. You must also temporarily assign it a static IP address in the address range of the Gigaset SE680 WiMAX. Advanced Settings Configuring Internet access If you have configured the Gigaset SE680 WiMAX using the Basic Setup Wizard, you have also configured your Internet access. You can check or change these settings in the Internet menu. This menu also offers you a wide range of possibilities for setting up security settings and limiting access to the Internet as well as for providing your own services on the Internet. -

If the firewall is ena- bled, your device can identify certain events, e.g. suspicious incoming data packets from the Internet, as attacks and avert them (hacker defence). -
