Use your SpeechMike Air
This chapter describes how to use the
SpeechMike with Philips SpeechExec dictation
software. If the SpeechMike is used with third-
party software other than Philips SpeechExec,
some features may not be present or function
differently. For detailed information, refer to the
documentation delivered with the software.
4.1
Create a recording
The docking station or the receiver module

must be connected to the computer with
the USB cable.

notifies you that the wireless connection
between the docking station and the dictation
microphone may be interrupted. Re-enter the
reception area of the docking station. When
the wireless connection is interrupted, the
dictation software stops recording. See

During recording, the on-screen view
remains on the recorder window, while the
SpeechExec
window may be visible in the
background. The

Playback a recorded file
Various playback functions can be controlled
by the SpeechMike, in the recorder window or
