Troubleshooting

Before asking for repairs, check the symptoms with the following table.
Contact your dealer if a problem cannot be solved even after checking and trying the solution in the
table or a problem is not described below.
Symptom
Power is not turned on.
The setup menu of the
matrix switcher cannot
be displayed.
Cause/solution
When using DC power supply
• Is 12 V DC power supply connect to the
power supply terminal?
→ Check whether the connection is
appropriately established.
When using a PoE device for power
supply
• Are the PoE device and the network
connector on the front of the unit con-
nected using a 4-pair LAN cable?
→ Check whether the connection is
appropriately established.
• Depending on the PoE device, the
power supply will stop when the
demanded power exceeds its total
power limit for all PoE ports.
→ Refer to the operating instructions of
the PoE device in use.
• Non-interlace signals sometimes may
not be transmitted to display setup
menus.
The setup menus of the matrix switchers
such as WJ-SX550 Series are com-
posed of non-interlace signals, which
this unit sometimes cannot transmit.
