3-3 OUTDOOR FAN MOTOR CONTROL

1 ON /OFF
The outdoor fan motor is turned on with the compressor start and turned off with the compressor stop except for
the following cases. Also when the operating mode of the outdoor unit is changed, fan speed will be controlled under
new operating mode condition.
When the defrosting operation is performed
When the deicing operation is performed
When the same capacity mode is performed
When the overload protection operation during heating operation is performed
2 Fan Speed
The outdoor fan motor has the following five steps of speed in addition to Stop.

* Intermittent operation: Fan 1 rotates 20 secounds
at intervals of 50 seconds. Fan 2 stops all the time.
