    2. Auto changeover operation When the air conditioner is set to AUTO mode by remote controller, operation starts in the optimum mode from among heating, cooling, dry and monitoring modes. During operation, the optimum mode is automatically switched in accordance with temperature changes. The temperature can be set be- tween 18°C and 30°C in 1.0°C steps.

    7. Various protections 7-1. Discharge gas temperature over-rise prevention control The discharge gas temperature sensor (discharge thermistor: outdoor unit side) detects the dis- charge gas temperature. • When the discharge temperature becomes higher than the trigger condition, the compressor fre- quency is decreased as the table below, and it continues to decrease until the discharge tempera- ture becomes lower than the trigger condition.

    7-3. Current release control The compressor frequency is controlled so that the outdoor unit input current does not exceeds cur- rent limit value set according to the outdoor temperature. The compressor frequency returns according to the operation mode, when the current becomes low- er than the release value.
