10 DECT SETTINGS
10.1 Register Handset to Base
Your handset needs to be registered to the base station before it can be used.
1. Press and hold Register Button on base for at least 5 seconds.
2. On the handset screen tap
> Settings > Dect manager > Register the hand-
set > OK.
•
The handset will begin searching for the base station.
•
If successful, "Handset registration done !" is displayed.
10.2. Delete Handset Registration
1. From the Home screen, Tap
2. Tap OK.
•
The handset will be registration deleted
•
If successful, "Handset deletion done!" is displayed.

12 USING THE PHONE FUNCTIONS
12.1 Make an External Call
Placing an external call using the Smart 64 Android Smart Home Phone handset is
similar to dialling with a mobile phone.
1. From the Home screen tap
to access the phone tab and dial pad.
2. Enter the phone number.
3. Tap
to dial the number.
4. Press
to end the call.
Tip
If you enter a wrong number, Tap
12.1.2 In-call Options
During a call, you can access the following options:
Dial pad
Shows dialer pad for Touch tone dial and Recall (R) function.
End Call
Ends the current call.
Mute
Mutes the handset microphone.
Speaker
Switch to speaker phone.
12.2 Make External Calls from Call Log
The Call log contains details of dialled, missed and received calls.
Note
Missed and received calls are only available if you have a caller ID service on your
phone (page).
1. From the Home screen tap

tacts in the call log.
2. Tap
next to the call log entry to call that number.
3. Press
to end the call.
