With the aid of the following guide, minor problems can be easily corrected
without contacting Miele.
If you cannot resolve a problem following these instructions please contact the
Miele Service Department.

Installation, maintenance and repairs may only be carried out by a suitably
qualified and competent person in strict accordance with current national and
local safety regulations.
Repairs and other work by unqualified persons could be dangerous. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for unauthorised work.
Problem
The display is dark.
A programme will not
start

Possible cause and remedy
– Check whether the time of day is set so that it does not
show in the display or so that it switches off after 60
seconds (see "Settings - Time - Display").
– Check to see if the mains fuse has blown. If it has, call
the Service Department.
– Check that the appliance is switched on at the mains
supply.
– Check that, if using a programme with microwave, the
door is shut properly.
– Check that a power setting and a duration have been
entered if operating in microwave mode .
– Check that, if operating with a combination programme,
the following have been entered: a power setting, a
cooking duration, a temperature or a grill level.
