items are listed in order of
operation.

Turn off fireplace and let cool before cleaning.
You must keep control areas, burners, and circulating air pas-
sageways of fireplace clean. Inspect these areas of fireplace
before each use. Have fireplace inspected yearly by a qualified
service person. Fireplace may need more frequent cleaning due to
excessive lint from carpeting, bedding material, etc.
ODS/PILOT AND BURNERS
• Use a vacuum cleaner or small, soft bristled brush to clean.
LOGS
• If you remove logs for cleaning, refer to Installing Logs, pages 20 and 21, to
properly replace logs.
• Replace log(s) if broken or chipped (dime-sized or larger).
Turn off fireplace and let cool before servicing. Only a qualified
service person should service and repair fireplace.
Never use a wire, needle, or similar object to clean ODS/pilot. This
can damage ODS/pilot unit.
