selectingthewatertemperaturesetting.Thetemperatureofthewater
inthewaterheatercanberegulatedbysettingthetemperatureonthe
frontoftheremotecontrol.Besuretoreadandfollowthewarnings
outlinedonthepicturedlabel.
Therecommendedsettingforthewatertemperatureis100°F(38°C).
Theremotecontrolhasbeenpresetandshippedattherecommended
temperaturesetting.
Safetyfactorsshouldbeconsideredwheneveralteringthewater
temperaturesetting.Thechartbelowmaybeusedasaguidein
determiningtheproperwatertemperatureforyourhome.

USING YOUR WATER HEATER
•  D O turn off manual gas shut-off valve if water heater
hasbeensubjectedtooverheating,fire,flood,
physical damage, or if the gas supply fails to shut
off.
•  D O NOT turn on water heater unless water and gas
suppliesarecompletelyopened.
•  D O NOT turn on water heater if cold water supply
shut-offvalveisclosed.
•  I f there is any difficulty in understanding or following
theoperatingandcareinstructionsinthismanual,it
