Displays "H" when measured
temperature is higher than
42.2 °C (108.0 °F). Repeat taking
temperature and confirm with
digital thermometer.
Displays "L" when measured
temperature is lower than 32.0 °C
(89.6 °F). See Section 7 for
proper technique.
Possible cause and fault
remedy
Displays "H" in conjunction
with the "s" when room
temperature is higher than
40.0 °C (104.0 °F).
Display "L" in conjunction
with the "t" when room
temperature is lower than
5.0 °C (41.0 °F).
Check battery. Possible damage
from dropping or water.
Please check if battery is
loaded correctly.
If the steady battery icon is the
only symbol shown, the battery
should be replaced immediately.

beeps sound (instead of a single beep).
