I’m trying to use my slow cooker for the first time and the timer doesn’t work. If I set it for an hour it takes a lot more time than that to count down. Maybe I’m not doing it right? I’m following the instructions in the manual I think.

Confirm that a cooking mode (High, Low, or Simmer) is selected, as the timer only operates when a mode is active. If the issue continues, try resetting the unit by turning it off and on again. If the problem persists, the unit may require service or replacement.
