Taurus SHO offers summer-only performance tires with a stiffer sidewall design, aggressive tread pattern
and a softer (stickier) rubber formulated tread compound. The softer summer compound offers improved
acceleration, braking and handling performance on dry and wet road surfaces and is exclusively intended for
use in warmer climates. If customers are in a geographical area where snow, ice or temperatures below 40
degrees F are common and they intend to drive the car year-round, they should know winter or all-season tires
are appropriate for that time of year.
(1) Horsepower and torque values using 93-octane fuel. Using a lower 87-octane fuel may reduce performance.
