Copying data on a PC

You can connect the product to a PC using the USB cable (provided), and copy data on the
PC to the memory in the main unit or a microSD card inserted in the memory card slot.

Connect the product to the PC using the USB cable
Check the orientation of the cable terminal, and insert the smaller end of the USB cable
horizontally into the USB connector on the product.
Check the orientation of the cable terminal, and insert the larger end of the USB cable
horizontally into the USB connector on the PC.

Tap "Mass Storage Mode" on the product
The standard driver is automatically installed on the PC, and the main unit's memory and the
microSD card inserted into it are recognized as "removable disks".
Copy data by operation on the PC.

End communications with the PC

Select the remove hardware icon on the task bar on the PC

Disconnect the USB cable

The mass storage mode of the product is supported on Windows 2000, Windows XP,
Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Mac OS X.
◎
The product supports the XMDF*, PDF and ePub formats. Data in other formats copied to the
product cannot be displayed.
* XMDF format data can only be displayed if the content is preset or has been downloaded with the product.

When copying to the microSD card or memory in the main unit, copy to the /MyLibrary/ folder.
◎
While data is being copied, do not disconnect the USB cable or turn the power off. Doing so
may alter or destroy the data.
