Activating the screensaver (sleep mode)

You can activate the screensaver (sleep mode) to save battery power.

Press 8 (power key)
The screensaver is activated.
To exit the screensaver, press 8 (power key) again.

Note that pressing and holding 8 (power key) turns the power off.

The screensaver is automatically activated after you have not operated the product for a fixed
length of time. For details on setting the time until the screensaver is automatically activated,

Home screen

The home screen is displayed by holding down 4 .
The following items are displayed on the home screen.

LISMO Book Store
Applications
Settings
You can view books you have bought from the LISMO Book Store,
electronic books already saved on the product, electronic books
saved on microSD card, and other books.
This allows you to connect to a 3G network or wireless LAN to
utilize the LISMO Book Store to buy electronic books.
You can use Notes, Drawings, Calendar, and Calculator.
You can set the display language, date/time, screensaver, network,
and other settings.
